This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Xiangling is the world-famous chef from Liyue, known for her extra spicy recipes. She brings her love of spicy food to the battlefield by dishing out some fiery Pyro DPS. While many players tend to run Xiangling as a support, it would be wise not to underestimate her ability to deal damage. This guide details the best weapons, artifacts, and stats to focus on if you plan to run Xiangling in your party. Here’s our version of the best Xiangling build in Genshin Impact.

Xiangling’s Pyro skills can be a bit of a turn off for some players. Her Guoba skill is stationary, and her Pyronado circles the active party member in a radius. Perfecting your positioning is key to making the most out of Xiangling. Let’s get started and take a look at how you can maximize her potential.

Best Xiangling Build in Genshin Impact

Here’s the best stats, weapons, and artifacts to go for as Xiangling:

  • Stats: ATK%, CRIT%, CRIT DMG, ATK
  • Weapons: Halberd, White Tassel, Skyward Spine
  • Artifacts: Gladiator’s Finale, Crimson Witch of Flames

Xiangling Stats

Xiangling’s moves primarily scale with ATK, so your main focus is on the ATK% stat. After that, you can go for CRIT%, CRIT DMG, and ATK. Another good option is running Pyro damage on the goblet since you’ll likely be using Xiangling mainly for her Pyro abilities. Focus on these four stats, and you will be on the right track.

Xiangling Weapons

When it comes to weapons, your best bet for sub-AR40 weapons are White Tassel and Halberd. Both of these weapons are three-star polearms with excellent passive abilities for Xiangling. White Tassel has Base ATK and CRIT% stats on it by default, with a passive that increases normal attack DMG by 24%. Halberd, on the other hand, has Base ATK and ATK% stats, with a passive that gives regular attacks an extra 320% DMG.

If you’re rolling in the dough, and you managed to snag yourself a Skyward Spine, Xiangling is a prime candidate to wield it. The polearm boasts Base ATK and ENergy Recharge stats by default. The Black Wing passive grants an increase to CRIT Rate of 8% and increases regular ATK SPD by 12%. On top of that, regular and charged attacks have a 50% chance to trigger a vacuum blade that deals 40% of ATK as DMG in a small AoE. The effect cannot occur more than once every two seconds. If you want to run Xiangling as a pure DPS, this is the weapon for you. However, you can still run this on your support Xiangling and jab a few hits in there before swapping out to your carry.

Artifacts

Now for the bread and butter of the build. Early on, you can throw a Berserker’s set on Xiangling until you start getting enough Gladiator’s Finale pieces. Both are great set options as long as you make sure to focus on the main stats listed above. If you’re running Xiangling as pure support, we recommend you farm some of your Crimson Witch of Flames set as soon as possible.

The Crimson set gives you a massive DPS gain by buffing Xiangling’s innate Pyro abilities. Crimson Witch of Flames two-piece bonus boosts Pyro DMG by 15%. The real kicker is the four-piece bonus, though. It increases Overloaded and Burning DMG by 40% and increases Vaporize and Melt DMG by 15%. Using an Elemental Skill increases two-piece set effects by 50% for 10 seconds and stacks three times.
