Genshin Impact is full of mysteries and puzzles that you need to discover (and then resolve), and as I am a great fan of puzzle games, these always seem exciting. The Chizhang map riddle is one of those that got many players confused, so I decided to jump in and help!
As with many other puzzles, they seem far more complex than they actually are, but when you’re stuck, you’re stuck, and any kind of hint is golden. Keep reading our article to find out how to decipher the Chizhang map puzzle in Genshin Impact.

How to Find Treasure from Chizhang Map in Genshin Impact?
The first thing you need to do before you find the Chizhang treasure is to find both the Chizhang Map and the Ancient City Key. You can find it in the location marked on the map above, in the ruins in Chenyu Vale: Southern Mountain.
Once you arrive at the ruins, you’ll notice an old torn-down building with a locked gate preventing you from entering inside. To unlock the gate, you need to interact with the 3 cauldrons that are in front of it.
The bigger cauldron will have a light ball inside it that you can call. However, simply calling it to you won’t open the locked doors. Instead, you need to stand in line with the two smaller cauldrons in front of the torn-down building, and when you call the light ball to you, it passes through both of them, lighting them up. This will unlock the gate and allow you to reap the rewards inside.
From the chest that you’ve opened in these ruins, you will get both the Chizhang Map and the Ancient City Key.
Chizhang Treasure Location in Genshin Impact
Now that you have your Ancient City Key, start traveling down south in the Chenyu Vale: Southern Mountain until you reach the marked spot on the map above. As you enter another ruin, you will find a new clue for your treasure puzzle on the wall. The clue describes what treasures lie within the building.
Approach the locked gate that you find inside the ruin and interact with it. You will be asked if you want to use your Ancient City Key to open the doors, and you need to confirm your choice. After that, 3 chests will be within your reach and free for looting!
