Kaedehara Kazuha is now available as a playable character in Genshin Impact. The sword-wielding Anemo character is a wandering samurai from Inazuma and a temporary member of The Crux. Kazuha is a unique character who can be used as a main or support DPS in a lot of different team setups. He provides excellent support to amplify a team’s overall damage, given his skill set. Here is the best Kazuha build in Genshin Impact and the suggested weapons, artifacts, and stats.
Kazuha’s main benefits as a team member include high swirl damage and low cooldown, great for controlling large crowds of enemies. There are a few different pieces of gear you’ll want to focus on to unlock Kazuha’s true potential, which we’ll cover below.
Best Kazuha Build in Genshin Impact
Here’s the best stats, weapons, and artifacts build for Kazuha in Genshin Impact:
- Weapons: Freedom-Sworn, Primordial Jade Cutter, Iron Sting, Alley Flash
- Artifacts: Viridescent Venerer
- Stats: Elemental Mastery
Best Weapons for Kazuha in Genshin Impact
There are many good weapon options for Kazuha in Genshin Impact. However, the best-in-slot weapon is likely the Freedom-Sworn five-star sword due to its high elemental mastery bonus. It increases normal, charged, and plunging attack damage. Considering Kazuha consistently uses Swirl damage, activating the Revolutionary Chorale passive should be no problem.
Another solid five-star weapon option is the Primordial Jade Cutter. It has a high critical rate and provides a bonus attack percentage based on the wearer’s maximum HP. Regardless, any five-star sword is a solid option for Kazuha, but we also have many great free-to-play options.
The best free-to-play weapon for Kazuha is likely the Iron Sting due to its high elemental mastery stat. The best thing about this weapon is that it’s a F2P weapon obtained through crafting. Again, this boosts Kazuha’s overall elemental damage, which you’ll be getting a lot of use out of, thanks to the burst skill.
If you don’t have the materials for the Iron Sting or want to go another route, you can go with The Alley Flash. The weapon also has an elemental mastery stat but to a lesser degree. All things considered, we would recommend Iron Sting above all else, unless you get lucky with your rolls and pull the Freedom-Sworn.
Best Artifacts for Kazuha in Genshin Impact
Whether you want to put Kazuha as your main damage dealer or sub DPS, you’ll likely want to go with the four-piece Viridescent Venerer artifact set. The two-piece bonus provides an extra 15% bonus to Anemo DMG, while the four-piece increases Swirl DMG by 60%. It also decreases the opponent’s elemental resistances to the infused swirl element by 40%, giving your team a significant damage boost overall.
Not everyone has the full set, though, of course. In that case, while you are working toward your full four-piece Viridescent Venerer, you can go with some pieces from Noblesse Oblige, Gladiator, Wanderer, and Instructor sets. These do not stack up to the potential of the best-in-slot four-piece set, but they are good options nonetheless.
Best Stats for Kazuha in Genshin Impact
The main stat Kazuha benefits from on Artifacts is Elemental Mastery. It boosts the base elemental damage and provides even more swirl damage. Coupled with the four-piece bonus, it adds up to a significant amount of extra damage. You can also go with Anemo bonus damage on your Goblet if you have the time to farm for it.
There’s not much need to focus on other stats, making it reasonably easy and cheap to build this character up quickly.
You will likely want to prioritize leveling the elemental skill above all others when building Kazuha. However, if you have enough Energy Recharge, you can also prioritize the elemental burst skill.
Ideally, you’ll want to get Kazuha to constellation six and max out all of the talents. It’s not feasible for many people, though, and it will cost a decent chunk of change to make that happen.
Best Team Compositions for Kazuha
Here are some of the best team compositions for Kazuha:
- Kazuha, plus any three characters of the same element
- Kazuha, plus hydro and cryo characters
- Kazuha and Jean, plus any other two.
When it comes to team composition, there are a few options for Kazuha. First of all, he can benefit a single element team very well, such as three pyro characters, for example. If you have the full four-piece Viridescent Venerer set, we recommend giving this setup a try.
Another good setup for Kazuha is paring him with Cryo and Hydro characters. The team will have boosted Cryo damage and activate freeze elemental reactions.
Finally, you might want to run Kazuha with another Anemo character for the elemental resonance bonus. In that case, consider Jean, as she is a great all-around character that can also provide some healing. It will help you gather more anemo particles while leaving you two slots for another support, DPS, or sub DPS.
