If you’re trying to ascend your characters to the max, you need all the resources you can get your hands on. There are many resources in the game, and finding out when everything is ready to pick or mine again can be a daunting task. For that reason, we put together a list of timers for minerals, plants, bosses, and other resources.

These are all the known respawn timers for minerals like Crystal Chunks, Cor Lapis, and Iron, along with plants like Philanemo Mushrooms, Violetgrass, and more.

All Respawn Lists in Genshin Impact

Before we dive into the details, we need to break down the details of the resets in Genshin Impact and how they work. The biggest and most important resets are the Daily Reset and the Weekly Reset.

Daily Reset is happening every day at 04:00 AM and affects the following:

  • Commissions
  • Primogems
  • Domains of Forgery and Domains of Mastery
  • Some Elite enemies
  • Battle Pass missions
  • Cooking Ingredients
  • Time-gated quests
  • Ley Line Outcrops
  • Hidden quest progress

Weekly Reset is happening every Monday at 04:00 AM and affects the following:

  • Rewards for Weekly Bosses
  • Weekly Battle pass missions
  • Artifacts vendors restocked
  • Reputation bounties

Even though the abovementioned things are tied to Daily and Weekly resets, it’s not true for all items in the game. Plenty of them respawn in relation to the time when you farmed them.

Mineral Respawn Timers in Genshin Impact

The respawn timer on most minerals is 48 or 72 hours. Mineral respawn timers go active from the moment you mine the node. In other words, you can only mine the same node either 48 or 72 hours after you mine it, depending on the resource.

  • Crystal Chunks, Blue Crystals: 72-hours
  • Cor Lapis: 72-hours
  • Noctilucous Jade: 48-hours
  • White Iron Chunks: 48-hours
  • Iron Chunks: 48-hours
  • Electro Crystals: 48-hours

Based on the given respawn timers, you may want to plan a farm route and hit it every two to three days. You can check our guide on the best spots to farm Crystal Chunks, as those seem to be the most valuable and most challenging to obtain.

Plant Respawn Timers in Genshin Impact

The respawn timer for most plants is 48 hours after you collect them. Plants include Mist Flower Corolla, Matsutake, Qingxin, Glaze Lily, Jueyun Chili, Flaming Flower Stamen, Violetgrass, Snapdragon, Silk Flower, Horsetail, Dandelion Seed, Valberry, Philanemo Mushroom, Calla Lily, Small Lamp Grass, Windwheel Aster, Wolfhook, and Cecilia.

Again, plan a farm route and hit it every two days for each character you plan to ascend. Check our Genshin Impact character materials cheatsheet for talents and ascension guide to see which hero needs what resources.

Monster and Boss Respawn Timers in Genshin Impact

Here are the respawn timers for specific bosses in Genshin Impact, including world bosses you can find in the Adventurer’s Handbook. By opening your Handbook, you can manually check the respawn timer from when you killed a boss.

  • Stormterror: 7-days for treasure, no cooldown to engage
  • Wolf of the North, Lupus Boreas: 7-days
  • Hypostasis (Cube Bosses): 3-minutes
  • Regisvine (Flower Bosses): 3-minutes
  • Animals: 24-hours at 4:00 AM
  • Monsters: 24-hours at 4:00 AM

Spiral Abyss Respawn Timers

Rewards for Spiral Abyss floors nine through twelve reset on the 1st and 16th day of every month. In other words, you can run these multiple timers per month for rewards. Floors one through eight are permanent and will not change.

Chest Respawn Timers in Genshin Impact

As far as we know from miHoYo, chests do not respawn in Genshin Impact, contrary to popular belief. If you believe a chest is respawning, it’s likely a bug, and you should report it as such if you find any instances of this.

What happens in most cases is that a chest temporarily disappears due to an active quest in the area. On some other occasions, they do tend to appear and disappear randomly, but no rules for this behavior have been found.
