Best Lisa Build in Genshin Impact

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Lisa is one of the starter characters in Genshin Impact that you’ll encounter early on in the story. This Librarian of the Knights of Favonious is a catalyst-wielding Electro hero that can do some significant damage if you know how to build her. Here’s our version of the best Lisa build in Genshin Impact, including the Artifacts, weapons, and stats to focus on for her.

Lisa’s ultimate ability is stationary, dealing big Electro damage to anyone who enters it. The goal is to have this ability active whenever possible, so getting Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery stats will benefit her if you run her as a support hero. How you build this character depends on which role you want her in, either support or DPS.

Best Lisa Build in Genshin Impact

Here are the weapons, Artifacts, and stats to focus on for Lisa:

  • Weapon: Magic Guide, The Widsith, Mappa Mare
  • Stats: ATK%, ATK, Elemental Mastery, Energy Recharge
  • Artifacts: Exile, Instructor, Wanderer’s Troupe

Best Lisa Weapon

A good starter weapon for Lisa is Magic Guide, offering base ATK and Elemental Mastery stats. The passive on this weapon is Bane of Storm and Tide, which increases damage against enemies affected by Hydro and Electro by 24%. It’s an easy enough weapon to obtain and refine to rank five.

Another good option is the craftable catalyst known as Mappa Mare. The catalyst offers ATK and Elemental Mastery stats, along with the Infusion Scroll passive. Triggering Elemental Reactions grant an 8% Elemental damage bonus for ten seconds, stacking up to two times.

Finally, another good option is The Widsith, if you are lucky enough to pull it through gacha. This catalyst offers base ATK and CRIT DMG stats, with the Debut passive. The passive causes a random theme song to apply to Lisa when she enters the field, which can grant Base ATK, Elemental Mastery, or Elemental DMG, depending on the song. The buff lasts for ten seconds and occurs once every 30 seconds.

Best Lisa Stats

As far as primary stats go, it would help if you focused on ATK% on all your Artifacts, except for the Electro damage bonus on your Goblet.

If you plan to focus on doing pure DPS with Lisa, you could go for CRIT% on your Circlet Artifact instead of ATK. For secondary stats, try and beef up Lisa’s Elemental Mastery and Elemental Recharge to maximize damage and ability uptime.

Best Lisa Artifacts

Here are some good Artifact sets to focus on for Lisa:

Artifact SetTwo-pieceFour-piece
ExileEnergy Recharge +20%Using an Elemental Burst regenerates two energy for other party members every two seconds for six seconds. Does not stack.
InstructorIncreases Elemental Mastery by 80After using Elemental Skill, increase party members’ Elemental Mastery by 120 for 8 seconds.
Wanderer’s TroupeIncreases Elemental Mastery by 80Increases charged attack damage by 35% if the character uses a Catalyst or Bow.

Depending on how you want to build Lisa, you can focus on Energy Recharge or Elemental Mastery sets. Doing so pumps up her damage and helps her ability uptime immensely. Those looking to go pure DPS can always focus on ATK sets like Brave Heart and Sojourner.
