As the list of Pokémon grows, new Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, each of whom often represent some kind of primal force or abstract concept, have been experiencing a bit of overlap with existing ones. Zeraora, for example, embodies the swiftness of lightning in its movements, but we’ve already got a bunch of other lightning Legendaries. Well, even if it ain’t the most original, it’s still got potential as a combatant. Here’s the best Zeraora build in Pokémon UNITE, including the optimal Battle Items, Held Items, and moveset.
When it comes to Zeraora, the name of the game is hit and run. It possesses impressive movement speed, even at the start of a match, as well as decisive single-strike attacks. To get the most out of Zeraora, you gotta stretch that speed and strength to their absolute limit. When you unlock this Pokemon’s true potential, it’s game over for the opposing team. Zeraora is a good jungler and in lanes, though most people opt to run this Pokemon in a lane.
Currently, Zeraora is the top pick on our Pokémon UNITE tier list. The damage output and survivability of this Pokémon are unmatched, making it a must-have on any team composition for high-level players. Best Zeraora Build in Pokémon UNITE
Here is the best Zeraora build in Pokémon UNITE:
- Battle Items: X Attack
- Held Items: Shell Bell, Focus Band, Float Stone
- Moveset: Spark, Discharge
Battle Items
There are three solid choices in terms of Battle Items for Zeraora in Pokémon UNITE. First, X Attack is good if you prefer to dive and burst damage and prioritize engaging the opposing team whenever possible. Dive in there, pop your X Attack, pop your Discharge, and use the Ultimate for some serious damage output.
Goal-Getter is another good item for Zeraora, but it’s for more advanced players. At higher ranks, it all comes down to who can squeeze in one extra goal. Goal-Getter doubles the goal-scoring speed for a short time, allowing you to sneak in there for a slam dunk.
You can also consider packing a Fluffy Tail when it’s available, especially for Jungling, as a few moments of stun can make all the difference in a DPS race. Fluffy Tail is a good option for jungling, as it helps the clear speed.
Held Items
As for Held Items, there are three solid choices for Zeraora. First up is Shell Bell, which gives bonus Sp. Atk and Cooldown, along with some heal whenever you use your abilities. The healing comes in very clutch and can save you in some encounters.
Next, Focus Band gives Defense and Sp. Defense, making Zeraora a bit tanky and adding some healing when at low health. The problem with Zeraora is survivability. The damage output is there, but you need enough time to execute, which is where this item comes into play. Finally, Zeraora is a mobile Pokémon who does a lot of roaming. Float Stone is a perfect choice here for the bonus Attack and Movement Speed.
Moveset
Now for Moves. At level 1, go for Slash in lieu of Agility. You’re fast enough already, you need the extra muscle, and you’ll get Agility at level 3 anyway. At level 5, go for Spark; it has a leaping effect that makes it great for chasing down anyone who tries to run away. At level 7, you want Discharge, as its shield-like radius makes it great for keeping you safe while you whale on foes.
Finally, at level 9, you’ll get Zeraora’s Ultimate, Plasma Gale. The move damages and knocks back everyone in its wide radius, which is neat, but the real draw is the bonus range and damage you get while attacking anyone within the radius. You can use this move to set up a massive dead zone for your foes where nobody can escape you.
