Why Are My Pokémon Unite Codes Not Working?

There are three main reasons why your Pokémon Unite codes may not be working: the code has already expired, the code is being input incorrectly, or the code has already been redeemed. When you’re redeeming your Pokémon Unite codes, always make sure they aren’t expired and that you haven’t already redeemed them. Also, always be sure that you’re inputting the code into the required textbox correctly; you can avoid this error by simply copying and pasting the codes directly into the textbox from pages like this one.

How to Add Friends in Pokémon Unite

Pokémon Unite doesn’t really tell you outright how to add your friends in the game, so it can be very confusing if you’re trying to figure it out by yourself. Luckily, adding friends in this game is actually very simple. First, all you need to do is visit the Pokémon Unite Home Screen on your Nintendo Switch or mobile device.

Next, bring up the Main Menu and click on the Friends button. At the top of the Friends screen, there should be a textbox where you can manually input your friends’ Trainer IDs; this will allow you to add anyone as a friend in Pokémon Unite, even if they’re not registered as your friend on Nintendo Switch (if that’s the console you’re using).

What is Pokémon Unite?

Pokémon Unite is Pokémon’s first strategic 5v5 team battle game. You can join fellow trainers from all over the world as you defeat wild Pokémon, face off in 5v5 Pokémon battles, and score as many points as you possibly can by winning every battle!
