Pokémon Unite Cramorant build

Pokémon Unite – Cramorant build, items, and moves

A more recent addition to the world of Pokémon, at a casual glance, you wouldn’t think Cramorant to be much different from an actual sea bird, bright blue coloration notwithstanding. Its more esoteric feature is its throat, the muscles of which are so powerful that they can launch a Cramorant’s breakfast at the speed of a cannonball. Such an offense-minded Pokémon is perfect for Pokémon UNITE. Here’s the best Cramorant build in Pokémon UNITE.

Fitting its Attacker role, Cramorant functions kind of like a mobile cannon emplacement. Its regular attack has a pretty long range, so what you wanna do is plop yourself down somewhere and start taking potshots at any foes unfortunate enough to cross your sight. For this reason, a good Cramorant build is all about increasing your options as a mobile cannon. Be sure to check out our Pokémon UNITE tier list to see how Cramorant stacks up against the competition.

  • Battle Items: Eject Button
  • Held Items: Shell Bell, Wise Glasses, Buddy Barrier
  • Moves: Surf, Hurricane

Items

For your items, you want the Sp. Attack Specs, the Shell Bell, and the Buddy Barrier. Whenever you score a goal, the Sp. Attack Specs will raise Cramorant’s Sp. Attack stat, which in turn increases the amount of HP you gain from the Shell Bell when using a Special Attack. The Buddy Barrier will allow you to support your teammates from anywhere on the field by giving them a barrier with your Unite Move.

If the entire opposing team is advancing on your position, you might want to have an Eject Button handy as well for a quick escape.

Moves

For your moves, Cramorant starts with either Whirlpool or Feather Dance, learning whatever move you don’t pick at level 3. At level 4, swap Whirlpool for Surf, which launches out a large wave that runs forward and backward, damaging opponents and knocking them in whatever direction the wave flows.

At level 6, swap Feather Dance with Hurricane, which launches and damages any Pokémon that get caught up in it. These moves are both large, AoE attacks that knock foes around and throw them off balance. When using either move, Cramorant will also catch some prey in its beak, which can be launched like a missile. That prey can be recovered while using Surf for a follow-up attack.

At level 9, Cramorant learns its Unite Move, Gatling Gulp Missile. This is the ultimate turret move; Cramorant can’t move while using it, but in exchange for that, it launches powerful rapid fire prey missiles that damage any nearby foes. As a Cramorant, you need to use your AoE moves and turret action to pummel opponents from a safe distance, shaking up their formation with knockback.
