How to get Legendary Weapons in Genshin Impact

Currently, the primary way to obtain legendary weapons is through gacha. When you have wishes, you can spend them on banners to have a chance at receiving powerful items and characters. While the chances of getting a five-star weapon or character are slim, you are guaranteed a five-star after 90 rolls thanks to the built-in pity system.

In future content releases, more weapons will come to the game, and potentially new weapon classes. Additionally, we may see new ways to acquire legendary weapons, whether through bosses or in-game quests. We will keep you updated as new content is introduced into the game.

Weapon banners have increased probability to roll weapons. On release, one weapon banner had increased odds of dropping Amos’ Bow and Aquila Favonia, among other four-star weapons. We may see more of these banners in the future, as new ones rotate into the store every couple of weeks.
