A spooky new update is available for Mario Kart Tour, bringing players into the Halloween Tour. This update features new characters, including Mario’s brother Luigi, King Boo, and Waluigi. A new week and a new tour also means one thing: new Tour Challenges.

Tour Challenges 1
- Land 3 hits with Red Shells
- Get a Fantastic combo a total of 5 times
- Do 100 Jump Boots
- Take out 5 Sidesteppers
- Earn a score of 6,000 or higher using a driver wearing a shell
- Flatten opponents 3 times during races
- Earn a score of 7,000 or higher using a driver with a mustache
- Cause opponents to crash 10 times in a single race using a driver with a tie
- Land 5 hits with Bob-ombs in a single race using a driver with an extended tongue
Gold Challenges
- Use Lightning
- Do a total of 10 Slipstream boosts
- Activate Frenzy mode 3 times
- Get 1st place in a 200cc race 3 times
- Land 3 hits with Bob-ombs in a single race
- Do 10 Ultra Mini-Turbo boosts in a single race
- Earn a score of 6,000 or higher using a driver with horns
- Land 3 hits with fireballs in a single race
- Earn a score of 8,000 or higher using a driver with an extended tongue
Seven days after release of this update, Tour Challenges 2 will also unlock. We can likely expect this Halloween Tour to last two weeks, through all of October into early November.
