Fall Guys is now free-to-play! But, it would seem that a pesky error has made itself known, preventing many players from enjoying the chaotic action. If you’ve received this error, you may be wondering if there’s a way to fix it, and if so … how? It can be very frustrating when you’ve just sat down to partake in the anarchic acrobatics that is Fall Guys, but … for whatever reason, you can’t.

How to Fix the “Failed to Login” Error

The “Failed to Login” Error appears usually after you’ve clicked START on Fall Guys’ main menu. It’s a blue notice that appears once your game has attempted to load like normal. It reads: ‘Failed to login, please check your connection.’ But, while it suggests something is wrong on the player’s side, that’s not likely.

In this case, there’s more a chance that the servers are at capacity. If you receive this error, it’s possible that you’ll get it repeatedly unless you’re constantly trying and failing to get into the game. If you’re being plagued by this pesky error in Fall Guys, the best thing you can do is try to get in a little later. There are simply too many people playing at the moment, and unfortunately, you’re not one of them.

It makes sense this kind of error would occur around the time Fall Guys goes free-to-play. But, it’s made ever worse because of the fact that cross-play and cross-progression are now highlighted features. Fall Guys initially released as a paid experience called Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout in 2020 on PC and PS4. It is now available for Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
