The final act is no exception, as it’s here where, in an effort to ensure a safe journey for Zack and Cloud, you’re tasked with using a sniper rifle to take out a slew of robotic targets. There’s a lot to this minigame, but it’s by no means difficult. Read on to learn the best way to approach the sniper minigame in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion.

How to Beat the Sniper Minigame in Crisis Core Reunion

To start, it’s important to remember that the robots’ weak point is generally their head. So, you should be aiming for that area as often as you can. If you don’t take the targets out in a reasonable amount of time, they’ll escape, and you’ll be unable to unlock the achievement. There are eight sniper stations that you’ll have to travel to in order to take out each of the targets.

You may also notice that you can upgrade the rifle using points earned by defeating enemies. But, you might not notice that ordinary enemies also count toward this total. But, we’ll get to that in a moment.

You can really get through the first three sniper points without much trouble. It’s at the fourth point that you’ll want to farm random encounters until you have enough points to fully upgrade the rifle. It shouldn’t take a long time to do this, especially if you’re at a high enough level. As soon as you’ve fully upgraded the rifle, take on the fourth challenge, which is the first one with three moving targets.

After that, take note of the fork in the road and go right. This is the fifth rifle point, and to make things much easier on yourself, just shoot the explosive barrel to take all three targets out at once. Go back to the fork in the road and take a left this time. This is why we took the time to upgrade the rifle, because this station has more powerful boss targets. They’re still pushovers if you’re fully upgraded, so take them out and move on to station number seven.

These last two stations can get a little stressful because, if you’ve been perfect up til now, you know that messing up can mean you don’t pop that achievement. But, just keep applying the skills you’ve learned up to now and you’ll complete this minigame in no time!
