Everyone’s favorite Shinra SOLDIER operative is back. The harrowing tale of Zack Fair returns with Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. Specifically, a PC version of the game has been among those in question. With many wondering: can you play Crisis Core Reunion on PC? Taking a look at the official Final Fantasy 7 page on Square Enixs’ website, we can see that there’s a Crisis Core Reunion section. Exploring this page will allow fans to get a small synopsis of the story and gameplay, and even a few cool wallpapers to download. Upon further scrolling and searching on the PC game store Steam, we are able to find a promising answer. Crisis Core Reunion is releasing simultaneously on December 13th, 2022 for PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. So yes, if you are wanting to enjoy the new and improved DMW system and don’t have any other console, you’ll be just fine.

Square Enix seems to have taken a different approach with Crisis Core Reunion in terms of its availability on other consoles at launch. Where it took a few years for Final Fantasy 7 remake to make it to PC (albeit even with the intergrade expansion) they want to make sure everyone is up to date with Zack’s story. It still seems as if they will still maintain the timed console exclusivity with their next installment of FF7 Rebirth. Here’s hoping Crisis Core can tide us over until the eventual release of Cloud’s new story.
