Skrelp is a Pokemon exclusive to Pokemon Shield that evolves into Dragalge. He is one of four version-exclusive Pokemon, with the others being Clauncher and Clawitzer. All four of these Pokemon can be found through two different methods, which we will explain in this guide. Here’s where to find Skrelp in Pokemon Sword & Shield Isle of Armor expansion.
Where to find Skrelp in Pokemon Sword & Shield Isle of Armor
First, you need to make sure you’re playing on Pokemon Shield Isle of Armor. If you are playing on Pokemon Sword, refer to our guide on where to find Clauncher instead. You can also opt to trade with someone to get the other version-exclusive Pokemon.
Skrelp can be found in any of the four seas in Isle of Armor, including the Honeycalm Sea, the Insular Sea, the Workout Sea, and the Stepping-Stone Sea. There are no special weather requirements that these Pokemon need to spawn.
You can also find Skrelp, Dragalge, and any of the other version-specific Pokemon in the Raid Dens. You might get lucky and find a Skrelp and Dragalge within the first few minutes. We did not get so lucky and instead had to roam around the seas to find one. It is a rare spawn with only about a 5% chance to spawn.
Skrelp evolves into Dragalge at level 47. After catching a Skrelp, you can probably evolve it by feeding it some Exp Candy. You can check out our other posts if you liked this guide and some to find out how to catch more Isle of Armor Pokemon.
