Where to find Max Mushrooms in Pokemon Sword & Shield

You will first come across Max Mushrooms when playing through the new Isle of Armor DLC for Pokemon Shield. Head over to the Lowlands, where Digging Pa is hanging out. You will see a cave with Digging Pa standing in front of it. Digging Pa can give you Watts in exchange for Armorite Ore, so feel free to talk to him.

Head inside the cave and follow the path, and you will see some Wild Max Mushrooms throughout the area. After picking the first group of Max Mushrooms you see, Klara will run towards you, and you will need to battle her three Pokemon. Defeat Klara and you can head back to the Dojo and continue on to the next mission.

Once you get the mushrooms, you unlock Max Soup, which allows some of your Pokemon to transform into the Gigantamax Pokemon form. To use Max Soup, you can talk to the trainer next to the kitchen and exchange a few Max Mushrooms for it.
