What’s Up With Addison Rae and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius?

A Stranger Question Has Never Been Asked.

War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius announced a collaboration today with TikTok star Addison Rae. As part of this truly bizarre team-up, players of the mobile game can receive an Addison Rae Vision Card by logging in, and while there is no end date, according to a press release, it’s for a limited time.

In one of the most odd trailers of all time, we are told that “you only exist if I want you to” before we are shown a montage of seemingly unrelated gameplay from War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. I could hardly say it better than some of the users in the comments.

“this collab doesn’t exist if i don’t want it to” says one user.

“One of the collabs of all time,” says another.

In addition to this merging of two unrelated brands, there will be a Brave Exvius-themed pop-up on Nov. 19 at Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, California. You won’t be able to meet Addison Rae — which is a waste, given the nature of collaborating with a TikTok star — but you will be able to meet voice actors Skyler Davenport and Erica Mendez, who provide the voices of Machérie Hourne and Glaciela Wezette, respectively. Also, the game’s community manager, Justin, will be present for the meet and greets.

There will be free postcards and stickers for all attendees who purchase macarons. And, for the first 100 guests, there will be “themed tote bags with goodies,” so … better get there early.

In all fairness, this is hardly the first time War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius has done this. Back in 2017, singer and actress Ariana Grande announced a collaboration with the game, including a character named ‘Dangerous Ariana.’

In 2018, Katy Perry also did a collab with the game, resulting in the character ‘Immortal Flame Katy.’
