We’re currently in the midst of Sustainability Week in Pokemon GO, an event dedicated to doing your part to preserve the natural beauty of the world (as well as, y’know, ensure it remains habitable). As part of several challenges for this event, you’ll need to catch a few nature-themed Pokemon, but getting them to come out of hiding is impossible without the right equipment. Luckily, everyone got that equipment for free for this event! On that note, what does the Mossy Lure Module do in Pokemon GO?
For Sustainability Week, every Pokemon GO player has received a free Mossy Lure Module. You can claim it from the Event Box in the in-game store. If you’re new to the game and aren’t familiar with Lure Modules, it’s a very simple concept; just visit a local PokeStop, deploy the lure, and more Pokemon of particular types will begin spawning around it in larger numbers.
What does Mossy Lure Module do in Pokemon GO?
In the case of the Mossy Lure Module, this means greater occurrences of natural Pokemon like Grass and Bug types. Here’s the complete list of the Pokemon that are more likely to show up when a Mossy Lure Module is deployed:
- Oddish
- Bellsprout
- Venonat
- Tangela
- Eevee
- Sudowoodo
- Hopip
- Yanma
- Roselia
- Cheubi
In addition to this list, select Pokemon are even more attracted to Mossy Lure Modules than usual for the duration of Sustainability Week, including ones that may not normally be otherwise. Those Pokemon include:
- Gloom
- Weepinbell
- Chikorita
- Grotle
- Cherubi
- Sewaddle
- Alolan Diglett
- Belossom
- Nincada
Take particular note of Gloom and Weepinbell on that list, as they’re both required for the Sustainability Week collection challenge, and won’t appear in the wild without a Mossy Lure Module.
