You can catch Galarian Yamask through the new Halloween 2020 Special Research through Professor Willow. The event offers encounters with Spiritomb, Duskull Houndour, and one with Galarian Yamask. You won’t find Galarian Yamask spawning in the wild, but trainers may be able to find one in 7km Eggs down the line.

How to evolve Galarian Yamask to Runerigus in Pokemon Go

Here are the steps to evolve Galarian Yamask into Runerigus:

  • Make Yamask your buddy
  • Win ten raids
  • Evolve with 50 Yamask Candies

To evolve Galarian Yamask to Runerigus, start by making it your buddy. After Yamask is your buddy, you need to win a total of ten raids. The process for evolving Galarian Yamask to Runerigus is similar to evolving Farfetch’d into Sirfetch’d. However, the task is slightly different as we don’t have to make excellent throws.

In addition to winning ten raids, you’ll want to make sure you have 50 Yamask Candy on hand to complete the evolution. You can inspect your Yamask, and look under the evolve button. You should see a dialog saying “Win 10 Raids,” with a progress tracker. If you’re ever unsure how many raids you won, refer to this screen to see how many you have remaining.

Since you only get one encounter with Galarian Yamask, you cannot have more than one right now. It may be a different story after the event is over. We will keep you posted on that.
