Try not to get burned!

Genshin Impact has various characters you can earn or control for a limited time that all have unique abilities. There are in total seven elements in Genshin Impact and one of them focuses on the element Pyro. When a character uses their pyro ability it inflicts a burning reaction on their enemies and combining fire with other elements enhances those abilities. How does all of this work exactly? We’re going to teach new players, or returning ones, how burning works in Genshin Impact.

How to Burn Enemies in Genshin Impact?

If you’ve been playing Genshin Impact you probably already have a solid team wielding a vision of Pyro. Our favorite vision holder that focuses on pyro would have to be Diluc and Hu Tao. Any character that uses Pyro’s abilities against enemies will have to be paired up with a character who wields a vision of Dendro. If you want to learn how to use burning, that’s the first step you’re going to take, is to have a Dendro character on your team.

Once you have used Pyro and Dendro together on an enemy it triggers a reaction from enemies. They start to receive a small amount of damage over time. This is indicated by an aura encircling them. The enemy will receive 0.25x damage and the higher your elemental mastery will cause those numbers to boost.

Who are the Best Pyro Characters in Genshin Impact?

If you want to try out the burning technique you could use any Pyro character. The major thing you need is to have a Dendro character paired with you. If we were to decide which Pyro characters are the strongest we’re going to have to pick Diluc, Thoma, and Bennett. This is because these characters have incredible power and Bennetts’s base attack power alone makes him stand out. If you’re looking for a solid DPS character you should go for Xiang Ling because she can deal heavy pyro damage.
