In the earlier days of Genshin Impact, Jean was definitely one of the most popular characters. Not only is she a generally cool person with killer fashion sense, she was also one of the very few Anemo-affiliated characters besides the Traveler and the stupidly-rare Venti. While there’s more Anemo to go around these days, Jean still maintains a comfortable spot of recognition on the roster, even more so now that she’s got some summer attire. Here’s how to get Sea Breeze Dandelion Jean in Genshin Impact.
As part of the Midsummer Island Adventure update, both Barbara and Jean have become the lucky recipients of Genshin Impact’s very first alternate character costumes, accessible through the formerly barren Dressing Room. Thing is, though, unlike Barbara’s summer outfit, which you can obtain through the Echoing Tales event, there is unfortunately no way to obtain Jean’s summer outfit through some manner of in-game completion. No sir, if you want that delightfully flowy shirt and shorts, you’re gonna have to cough up for it.
How to get Sea Breeze Dandelion Jean in Genshin Impact
The only way to get Jean’s Sea Breeze Dandelion outfit in Genshin Impact is to buy it with Genesis Crystals in the in-game store. On the bright side, from now until the next major update on July 19th, it’s slightly discounted at 1,350 Genesis Crystals, as opposed to its full price of 1,680 Genesis Crystals. Of course, since you can’t buy Genesis Crystals in particular amounts, you’ll have to spend around $24.99 to get a 980 Genesis Crystal bundle and two 300 Genesis Crystal bundles to meet the bare minimum, and that’s only if it’s still on sale. If you miss the sale, you’ll need to spend $29.99 to get the 1,980 Genesis Crystal bundle to afford the outfit.
Oh, and even if you don’t have Jean unlocked, you can still buy the outfit in the store. You can’t use it without unlocking her, obviously, but the option is definitely there.
