 Summoner

This was easily the job everyone was hoping for. The Summoner job as it states brings back that very classic Final Fantasy ability of summons. You can now summon Bahamut itself, the titular Dragon King of the DLC. Many long-time Final Fantasy fans will know Bahamut as one of the most recurring summons in the whole series.

Bahamut will be under your direct control when you summon it. Players will be able to have it use megaflare, gigaflare, and exaflare attacks. However, your MP and max MP will continuously decrease with each use. You gain MP from defeating enemies though, so the more you defeat the longer Bahamut will stay summoned.

Evoker

Evokers can call upon spirits to assist them during battle. This can seem like the Summoner job, however, you’re not in complete control of the spirits as they attack enemies on their own. While that seems like a disadvantage, you can choose certain abilities for them to use. Players can have the spirits use a blast wave that staggers enemies, a shackle to bind them in place, and a healing spell to restore health to anyone in the party, including themselves.

Pilgrim

The Pilgrim job comes with a new weapon type and is the only new job that does. Adding staffs, The Pilgrim can attack enemies within a wide range and at a distance. Players can use a thrust attack to close the distance between them and the enemy or use an upwards strike to distance themselves further. These are useful new combos you can implement.

The Pilgrim job action, assault hook, can change the length of the weapon and then use it to grab hold of an opponent. One grabbed hold of, you can either lunge at the foe, then drag or strike it to where your character is standing.

Along with a boss fight with Bahamut, the DLC also has a boss fight with the original Warrior of Light from the first Final Fantasy.
