Genshin Impact fans know all too well how hard it is to get a five or four-star character, which makes it extra exciting when you land a new favorite. Genshin has new banners that they release pretty frequently when they update the game or want to give players an opportunity to get characters they haven’t gotten yet. For the banner “Oni’s Royale”, an Artaki Itto rerun banner, you might get Kuki Shinobu, the faithful second-in-command whose electric powers are shocking. If you do manage to get Kuki, here’s how you can build her to be perfect for your team.
Kuki Shinobu Builds in Genshin Impact
Kuki Shinobu isn’t as rare as getting Arataki Itto, the leader of the Arataki gang. She’s professional and takes on the role of a general better than Arataki at times. She’s a four-star electro-vision holder and uses her sword to strike down enemies. Here’s how you can build this A-ranking character to be the best addition to your team.
Best Sub DPS Mode Build
If you want to play Kuki Shinobu as a sub DPS you’ll want to remember her strengths versus her weaknesses. The best part about her is that she has reliable healing, consistent electro fields damage, and a low elemental burst cost. The only downside is that she doesn’t have party-wide healing and has slightly low damage. As a sub DPS, you want to get as much damage as you can through her elemental advantages. Make sure you pair her up with teammates that focus on pyro.
- Best weapon: Freedom Sworn
- Alternative weapon: Primordial Jade Cutter, Iron Sting, Festering Desire
- Best artifacts: Thundering Fury x4
- Main stats: Elemental Mastery (sands), Elemental Mastery (goblet), Elemental Mastery (circlet)
Best Support Party Buff Build
You can either use Kuki Shinobu as a party buff support character or a full-on healer. If you want to use her as a party buff you need to focus on giving attack damage bonuses to the entire party by using a 4 piece artifact. Weapons will be the same as listed above, however, you will need to switch up your artifacts and stats.
- Best artifacts: Tenacity of the Millelith x4
- Main stats: HP% (sands), HP% or electro damage (goblet), Healing Bonus or HP% (circlet)
Best Support Healer Build
If you’re trying to play her as a support healer you will need to sacrifice her attack bonus from the Tenacity of the Millelith and swap it out with another artifact. We also recommend you pair her up with some Cryo or Geo characters for support.
- Best artifacts: Ocean-hued clam x4
- Main stats: HP% (sands), HP% (goblet), Healing Bonus (circlet)
