Easter and Spring are underway, and the rabbit-inspired Pokemon GO event, Spring into Spring, is here to celebrate. Trainers have a collection challenge to work through, along with some event-exclusive field research for some eggcellent encounters! Like most collection challenges, a good portion of the Pokemon show up in the wild, but a few of them are a little more difficult to catch. Here’s how to catch Azumarill for the Pokemon GO Spring into Spring Collection Challenge.
How to catch Azumarill for the Spring into Spring Collection Challenge
Azumarill is not one of the boosted spawn rate Pokemon, so how in the world do you catch one? Well, it’s pretty simple if you follow the Field Research tasks. In short, you’ll need to catch yourself 15 Exeggcute for the Field Research task to get yourself an Azumarill encounter. If catching Exeggcutes is not your thing, then you can also encounter an Azumarill by defeating the relevant three-star raid.
You might notice Azumarill’s other forms available in the wild and hatching from eggs, but for the collection challenge, you’ll specifically need to catch one! Note that if you are going the Field Research route to snag 15 Exeggcute, there are two other tasks to catch Exeggcutes. You want to focus on the one that requires a total of fifteen. After finishing up the task, you’ll get your Azumarill encounter reward. After that, you can focus on the remaining Pokemon for the Spring into Spring Collection Challenge, which includes:
- Exeggcute
- Shadow Exeggcute
- Buneary
- Bunnelby
- Plusle
- Minun
- Flower Crown Pikachu
- Azumarill
- Flower Crown Chansey
In addition to catching these, you will want to pay some extra attention to Bunnelby and evolve it into Diggersby. Once that’s done, you will receive one Lucky Egg, 50 Mega Lopunny Energy, and a whopping 2,500 XP. Good luck, Trainers!
