A good rule of thumb for Final Fantasy games is that if a piece of armor has a really confusing-sounding name, it’s probably really strong. What does “Hypostatic” mean, for instance? No idea, something to do with theology, I think. It doesn’t matter, because it sounds cool, which means you want it. Here’s how to get Hypostatic Gear in Final Fantasy XIV.
How to Get Hypostatic Gear in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV)
Hypostatic Gear is a set of level 90 equippable armor added to FFXIV as of patch 6.3 in the Endwalker expansion. There’s Hypostatic Gear for every equipment slot, including head, body, hands, and feet, and it’s both chock full of stat bonuses and nice-looking to boot.

In order to obtain Hypostatic Gear, you need to defeat the various bosses of the level 90 Euphrosyne raid, made accessible after completing the quest “Return to the Phantom Realm.” This raid features four bosses, each of which has a chance to drop one piece of Hypostatic Gear upon defeat. There are a lot of pieces, so if you want a complete set, expect to redo this raid quite a bit.
