In Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion’s second chapter, Zack finds himself on a mission to Banora Village. This quaint, scenic, crossroads holds some sentimental value, because it was where Angeal and Genesis grew up. It’s also where the plot kicks into gear, but, before any of that happens, players may notice a handful of glowing orange items. If they try interacting with these items, Zack will say that now’s not the time for collecting these items. So, what’s up with said items, and where can you find all five?
Where to Find All Treasured Items in Banora Village
If you’re an achievement hunter, you may notice there’s a trophy associated with these items. To make a long story short, these are considered the Banora Treasures (which is also what the trophy is called). In order to collect an ETHER, a SOMA, an X-POTION, an ELIXIR, and a PHOENIX DOWN from Banora Village, you’ll first have to interact with each. Zack will tell you now’s not the time, but unless you interact with them, you won’t be able to collect them when it really counts.
So, while you’re exploring Banora Village, you can find each of these items in these locations:
- As you enter the area near Angeal’s house, you may notice the first item to your left. It sits at the side of another house that, if you knock on the door, will start a battle.
- Next to the water well in that same area.
- Beside the storage of logs and barrels next to the house furthest from the area entrance.
- Further down the path, next to a gathering of crates and barrels.
- Even further down the path, next to some rocks overlooking the enemy warehouse.
OK — now that you’ve interacted with all of the orange-glowing items, after a bit of story, you’ll be tasked with racing back to Angeal’s house and nabbing all of the abovementioned items. But, here’s the catch: you only have 45 seconds to do so. So, from where you start, grab the fourth, then take a detour to grab the fifth, then the second, third, and first. If all goes well, you should have about ten seconds to make it back to Angeal’s house, which is more than enough time.
In exchange for this hectic sequence, you’ll earn:
- 1000 Gil
- Ether x1
- Soma x1
- X-Potion x1
- Elixir x1
- Phoenix Down x1
- Banora Treasures Trophy / Achievement
