Where to get Bamboo Shoots in Genshin Impact
You can find Bamboo Shoots throughout Mondstadt in grassy areas underneath Bamboo Trees. There are some places around Qingce Village that you can visit to gather these relatively efficiently. Here are the two locations we’ve been using to collect Bamboo Shoots.
Southwest of Qingce Village
Take the Bishui Plains waypoint and follow the main road southwest of Qingce Village. Look to the sides of the main path for Bamboo Trees, and you should be able to spot some Bamboo Shoots easily. Pay attention to the right and left sides of the path, exploring any area with Bamboo Trees. We were able to collect about ten Bamboo Shoots from this route.
East of Qingce Village
Take the waypoint directly to the east of Qingce Village to find three more Bamboo Shoots. There are a few Bamboo Shoots around the large house in the area. Again, look for the Bamboo Trees, and you’ll know where the Bamboo Shoots are located.
Bamboo Shoot Recipes
Bamboo Shoots are a requirement in two recipes, which you can obtain from Wangshu Inn and Liyue Harbor.
Teleport to Wagnshu Inn and speak to the boss Verr Goldet. You can buy the Bamboo Shoot Soup recipe for 5,000 Mora from her. This is a three-star health regeneration food item, which requires the following materials to craft:
- Raw Meat x2
- Ham x2
- Bamboo Shoot x1
Next, go to Liyue and speak with Chef Mao at Wanmin Restaurant to pick up the Triple-Layered Consomme recipe. This food item increases party members’ Shield Strength by 20-30% for 300 seconds. It requires the following materials to cook:
- Ham x2
- Haunch of Meat x2
- Bamboo Shoot x1
- Mushroom x1
