During Venti’s storyline, you’ll encounter two adventurers by the name of Jack and Stanley. Jack wants you to look for Stanley’s old weapons in secret, as they are the sword and shield passed down from the Lion of the South. Here’s where to find the Sword of Brilliant Valor in Genshin Impact, for the Lionfang’s Legacy quest.

Where to find the Sword of Brilliant Valor in Genshin Impact

The Sword of Brilliant Valor is in the northern portion of Dadaupa Gorge. You’ll need to take down a bunch of Hilichurl and clear the inside of the large hut. After clearing out all the mobs, you will be able to interact with the Sword of Brilliant Valor, sticking out of the ground in the middle of the hut. Refer to the map below for the exact location of the sword.

At first glance, Jack is not very impressed with the sword as it looks basic and worn. After inspecting the sword further, you’ll notice Stanley creeping around outside following your group. He’s been acting quite weird, and we’ll have to wait and see why he’s behaving in this way. Next up, you’ll need to find the Shield of Magnificent Honor.

The shield is a bit southeast from the sword location in Dadaupa Gorge. You’ll find a Hilichurl using it as his shield, which seems a bit off. However, after catching Stanley creeping around at the new location, you’ll realize he planted them there and is indeed no adventurer at all. Next, you’ll need to visit Mondstadt, change it to nighttime, and head to the Angel’s Share location.
