Pokemon Go Mega Discovery Tasks and Rewards

A special Timed Research task is coming to Pokemon Go, alongside the new Mega Evolution Pokemon. There are not many details about when this will drop, but we know Blastoise, Charizard, Venusaur, and Beedrill can be Mega Evolved. 

To Mega Evolve these Pokemon, take them into a Mega Raid and get some Mega Energy by finishing quickly. Alongside the Mega Evolution, you will find some Pokemon Go Mega Discovery Tasks and Rewards.

Mega Discovery Tasks and Rewards

The Pokemon Go Mega Discovery Tasks and Rewards enter the game with the Mega Evolution functionality. We will update this page as new tasks and rewards release. Here’s a look at all the tasks and rewards so far:

Task 1

• Send three gifts to friends: 10 PokeBalls
• Catch fifteen Pokemon: 25 Beedrill Mega Energy
• Catch fifteen Magikarp: 10 Super Potions
• Completion Reward: Rare Candy, Weedle Encounter, 5,000 XP

Task 2

• Evolve two Weedles: 2,000 Stardust
• Defeat three Team Go Rocket Grunts: 1 Premium Raid Pass
• Power up a Pokemon five times: 20 Weedle Candies
• Completion Reward: Beedrill Mega Energy, Charge TM, 5,000 XP

Task 3

• Battle in a Mega Raid: Silver Pinap x2
• Win a Raid: Revive x6
• Take a Snapshot of your buddy: Hyper Potion x6
• Completion Reward: Rare Candy x3, 25 Beedrill Mega Energy, 5,000 XP

Task 4

• Claim Reward: 1,500 Stardust x3
• Completion Reward: 5,000 XP, 1,500 Stardust, 25 Beedrill Mega Energy
