Escape From Tarkov is one of the most challenging yet rewarding first-person shooters on the market. However, with it originally being a PC exclusive and the game continuing to grow in popularity, fans are curious to know if Escape From Tarkov is now available to play on the PS5.

Is Escape From Tarkov on PS5?
Escape From Tarkov began as a first-person shooter that was strictly made for PC. However, as a hardcore and realistic online ARPG simulator with MMO features and an enthralling storyline, it would make sense for the game to be available on one of the world’s most popular systems, right?
Unfortunately, Escape From Tarkov is not on the PS5 and Battlestate Games has made no formal announcement stating that it will be any time soon. The company appears to continue its focus on the PC version of the game instead.
That being said, the game’s lead developer, Nikita Bunyanov, revealed in an interview back in 2020 that Battlestate Games was talking to publishers with the goal of bringing Tarkov to consoles in the near future. So, they’re clearly hard at work to eventually bring the game to consoles like the PlayStation 5.

However, it’s worth noting that even if a console version is “in the works”, Escape From Tarkov is still considered to be in beta, which is a state it’s been in since 2017. So, even if there are plans to make the game available to play on the PS5, I don’t think we’re anywhere close to this point right now.
