If there’s one thing that everyone has loved since pretty much the dawn of modern fiction, it’s a dashing and handsome detective. How to Unlock Shikanoin Heizou in Genshin Impact
At the time of writing, there is no special in-game means of obtaining Shikanoin Heizou in Genshin Impact. You know what that means: it’s time to spin the ol’ gacha.
Shikanoin Heizou can be rolled on two of the currently-active character banners: Klee’s banner, Sparkling Steps, and Kazuha’s banner, Leaves in the Wind. Both of these banners are rerunning from July 13th to August 2nd.
Shikanoin Heizou is a 4-star character and one of the featured 4-stars on both banners. On either banner, he’s featured alongside two more 4-stars, Thoma and Ningguang. The way rolling 4-stars works is that, if you successfully roll a 4-star character, you’ll have a 50% chance of getting one of those three 4-star characters. If it’s not one of those characters that time, then the next time you successfully roll a 4-star character, it will definitely be one of them. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that you receive Shikanoin Heizou even if you do roll a 4-star, so you’ll just have to get lucky.

If you don’t roll Shikanoin Heizou while these banners are active, you’ll still be able to roll him on other banners, albeit at a lower occurrence rate. You’ll have an equal chance of getting Shikanoin Heizou as you will with every other 4-star character in the game, featured characters notwithstanding. Hope you’ve got some Primogems stocked up!
