How to start The Crown Tundra in Pokemon Sword and Shield

The second expansion pack for Pokemon Sword and Shield, titled The Crown Tundra, is now available. Players who purchase the DLC can now access it, but knowing how to get it started is another story. The Isle of Armor, Sword and Shield’s first expansion, came out back in June, and the process for getting to the new zone is similar. You may be new to the entire process, though. If you’re trying to figure out how to begin your journey, we got you covered. Here’s how to start The Crown Tundra in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Here’s how to start The Crown Tundra in Pokemon Sword and Shield:

  1. Purchase the DLC
  2. Fast travel to Wedgehurst
  3. Go inside the train station
  4. Talk to the attendant and select Crown Tundra Station

The Crown Tundra is available for all players who purchased the DLC, regardless of whether you’ve completed Sword and Shield. There is one requirement, though, and that is that you must get to Wedgehurst. Once you arrive in, or fast travel to, the city of Wedgehurst, head to the train station.

Speak with the attendant inside, who will ask you where you would like to go today. Your options are either Armor Station or Crown Tundra Station. The latter, Crown Tundra Station, is where you want to go to start exploring the new area. After making your selection, the train will take you to your destination.
