Growing crops and making friends is great and all, but there’s a lot more to Sun Haven than just farming and friendship. One of the most popular features of the game is its romance feature, which allows players to forge romantic relationships with specific NPCs in the village. Since its release, players have had the same boring number of available suitors; with its 1.2 patch update, however, that number is about to change. Keep reading to discover everything you need to know about all the new romances in Sun Haven!

How to Romance Kai, Vivi, and Wesley in Sun Haven

Sun Haven offers players the opportunity to not only build a thriving farm but also foster meaningful relationships with the charming inhabitants of the countryside. With its new 1.2 patch, the Romance and Barns update, Sun Haven has added a total of three brand-new suitors to the game: Kai, Vivi, and Wesley.

The addition of these three suitors has taken romance in Sun Haven to a whole new level, and any fans of these characters are definitely going to want to take them for a swim in the dating pool! If you’re ready to get your romance on with these three characters in Sun Haven but have no idea where to start, then you’re in luck!

Keep on reading for an image of the three lucky suitors and step-by-step instructions on how to romance them.

Romancing these three characters may not be the easiest task, but it’ll be more than worth it if you’re willing to put in the effort (especially for Wesley). Here’s how to win the hearts of each of these characters:

How to Romance Kai in Sun Haven

Out of the three new suitors, Kai is objectively one of the easier ones to romance in Sun Haven. Winning Kai’s heart isn’t nearly as difficult as trying to win over someone like Wesley, and in fact, it’s actually a pretty similar process to romancing any other character in Sun Haven.

All you have to do to romance Kai is make sure you strengthen your relationship with him by talking to him every day and gifting him his favorite items. Here is a list of items that Kai absolutely loves and will go bonkers for if you give to him:

  • Golden Fishing Rod
  • Grilled Crab
  • Kelp Eel
  • Lemonade
  • Lobster Bisque
  • Lobster Roll
  • Lobster Sushi
  • Mithril Ring
  • Neapolitan Ice Cream
  • Poke Bowl
  • Ribbon Eel
  • Seared Lobster
  • Seaweed Ice Cream
  • Tropical Punch
  • Very Good Fishing Rod

In order to talk to him and give him gifts, you’ll first need to find him (obviously). You can first find Kai on the Beach, east of Peter’s Fishing Store. After you’ve found him and woken him up (he’s a sleepy boi), you can track him down throughout the day by following this (his) schedule:

  • 6:00 a.m – in his house (Kai’s Cave).
  • 8:00 a.m – at the beach
  • 10:00 a.m – at the dock
  • 1:00 p.m – at the museum/aquarium
  • 3:00 p.m – at the beach
  • 8:30 p.m – in his house (Kai’s Cave)
  • 10:00 p.m – asleep (in his house)

Even without this schedule, it’s honestly pretty easy to locate Kai in Sun Haven. He’s always either at his house or somewhere that has something to do with fish, so just keep that in mind if you ever happen to forget his schedule!

How to Romance Vivi in Sun Haven

Vivi is similar to Kai in the sense that she’s relatively easy to romance in Sun Haven. The process of romancing Vivi is similar to that of the other characters, so you thankfully won’t have to jump through too many hoops in order to win her heart.

Making sure to take the time to talk to Vivi every single day and gift her her favorite items will be all that you have to do in order to win her over. Here’s a list of Vivi’s all-time favorite items that will get her hot for you almost immediately:

  • Acorn Anchovy
  • Acorn Milk
  • Barrel Of Swords
  • Berry Pie
  • Carrot Sword
  • Cinnamon Apple Pie
  • Glorite Sword
  • Health Woven Scarf
  • Raspberry Pie
  • Rel’Tar’s Mark (Crossbow)
  • Seared Acorn Anchovy
  • Sunite Sword

Of course, you won’t be able to give her any of these gifts at all (let alone talk to her) if you can’t find her. This is what Vivi’s daily schedule looks like in Sun Haven:

  • 6:00 a.m – inside her house (Vivi’s House)
  • 8:00 a.m – wandering around outside
  • 10:30 a.m – at the merchants
  • 1:00 p.m – at the general store
  • 3:00 p.m – at the Sun Haven quest board
  • 4:30 p.m – at the merchants
  • 6:00 p.m – behind the tavern
  • 9:30 p.m – at her house (Vivi’s House)

Vivi isn’t quite as predictable as Kai in terms of location, but she’s still relatively easy to track down. She mostly likes to hang out outdoors or hang around small businesses, so always check those locations first if you ever can’t find her!

How to Romance Wesley in Sun Haven

Out of all three of the new suitors, Wesley is by far the most complicated to romance in Sun Haven. He’s not really all that complicated in all honesty, but he does require a few more steps to be romanced than the others.

Before players can even begin to romance Wesley, they must first fully complete the Nel’Vari questline in its entirety. After that, however, players are free to approach Wesley and begin putting the charm on!

Just don’t try giving him any gifts or anything prior to completing the Nel’Vari questline, because he will literally refuse to accept them (he has standards).

Once the questline has been completed and senpai has officially noticed you, you can start stealing his heart by talking to him every day and giving him some of his favorite gifts (just like any other character). Here’s a list of gifts that you can give Wesley that will have him planning your wedding ASAP:

  • Wesley’s favorite gifts are not fully understood at this time, but this page will be updated as soon as more information becomes available!

This sexy historian daddy has been on everyone’s wishlists for quite some time, and the Sun Haven gods (Pixel Sprout Studios) have finally blessed us with the key to his heart. Don’t take this godly gift for granted the next time you log into Sun Haven!
