How to get under Sal Terrae in Genshin Impact

You may have noticed the sealed off area in Sal Terrae. Using some innovative in-game mechanics, we can manage to get underneath the place by taking a hidden route. There are a few chests under the seal in case you are desperate for experience. It’s also a fun place to explore for those adventurers out there. Here’s how to get under Sal Terrae in Genshin Impact.

Before you start, make sure your Main Character (Traveler) is the Geo element vision. You could visit any Liyue Statue of the Seven to switch the element from Anemo if you didn’t know.

How to get under Sal Terrae in Genshin Impact

Here’s how to get under Sal Terrae in Genshin Impact:

• Travel to Sal Terrae Waypoint
• Make your way east of the seal
• Climb the rocks and head through the fake mountain
• Use the Main Character’s Geo ability to glitch through the crack in the ground
• Scale the wall and make your way underneath Sal Terrae

Travel to Sal Terrae

Sal Terrae is southwest of Mondstadt along the red map border, a bit south of Dawn Winery. Reference the map below in case you’re not sure where to look. You can see the sealed off location on the map if you look for the blue circle.

Climb the rocks and head through the fake mountain

Now, make your way east of the circle, to the snowy area. Go east and climb up the rocks until you reach the top. You will see some partially loaded textures that appear blurry. Walk toward the mountain, and you’ll notice you can go right through it.

Glitch through the crack

Go through the mountain, and look for the crack beneath you in the rocks. We’re going to use the Main Character’s Elemental Skill to glitch through the ground. Place the Starfell Sword (the rock sphere ability) at the location shown in the image below. You want to climb the rock downwards, so you end up beneath the crack in the ground.

If you do this correctly, you can continue climbing down the grass wall and make your way underneath the area. Continue going deeper to the next grassy area. Make your way around the rock, and look for the triangular gap in the stone wall. Climb through the hole and continue on your path.

Jump or glide downwards and keep going through the openings until you reach a small watery area. Turn around, and you should see another area of water. Jump over it and glide to the rocks on the other side.

Walk around the rocks, and you’ll get to another area with water. You can swim through this, as it ends abruptly. After the water, glide to the dirt wall on your right and climb up the wall.

Next, walk around the stones in front of you, and you’ll see some pillars. Jump across to them and climb up.

Loot the chests and resources
