How to get Sol in A Universal Time (AUT)

There are many upgradeable stands available in A Universal Time. A fan-favorite is Sol, or Jataro’s Star Platinum (JSP for short), and it’s a bit of a process to unlock. Not to worry, though, because we’re here to guide you through the process one step at a time. Here’s our guide on how to get Sol in A Universal Time (AUT), the popular JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure-inspired Roblox game.

How to get Sol in A Universal Time

To get Sol in AUT, follow these steps:

1. Obtain the Star Platinum Stand from an Arrow
2. Defeat Dio and wish to know the cosmos
3. Complete the Creation of the Cosmos quest
4. Kill Dio again with the Tales of the Universe Book in your action bar
5. Wish to know the cosmos again, and you will obtain Sol

Obtain the Star Platinum Stand from an Arrow

The first step in obtaining Sol is to ensure you have the Star Platinum Stand available in your Ability Storage or active to summon. The next part of this quest requires Star Platinum. You can find arrows in chests, meteors, or by purchasing one from the shop. Refer to our guide on how to get a Stand if you need more help.

Defeat Dio and wish to know the cosmos

Next, you will need to locate or summon Dio. You can either summon him for 500 Robux or find him in the forest. He randomly spawns every thirty minutes in the forest and sometimes can be up in the trees. It will help if you are on a private server so that nobody steals the kill, and you won’t have any competition for it.

After slaying Dio, he will say, “do you wish to know the cosmos?” Be sure to reply with “Yes.” Otherwise, you’ll need to kill Dio again, and that’s a big waste of time. As a side note, don’t worry about dying when fighting Dio. You can respawn and run back, and he will not regenerate his health. 

Complete the Creation of the Cosmos quest

You will now have a quest called Creation of the Cosmos, with the following objectives:

1. Inflict 5,000 damage with Star Platinum
2. Kill Dio with Star Platinum
3. Block 1,500 Damage with Star Platinum
4. Get 5 Timestop kills

All of these are fairly straightforward, except for Timestop kills. For this requirement, you must kill a player in Timestop. Timestop kills reportedly work on the Dummy NPCs in the park, but I have not tested to confirm that. You can enter Timestop by pressing the “J” key, and you should do this when an enemy has very low HP to ensure you kill them before it runs out.

When you kill Dio the second time, wait for the dialog to disappear. Do not press “yes” for the cosmos question. Remember, all of these tasks must be completed using the Star Platinum Stand.

Get the Tales of the Universe Book and kill Dio again

The Tales of the Universe Book is a random drop in AUT, and you can find it in chests. It reportedly has about a 9% spawn rate, so it may take you quite a few chests to find, depending on your luck.

Once you have the Tales of the Universe Book, locate and kill Dio one more time. This time, you can say “Yes,” when asked if you wish to know the cosmos. You will now respawn with Sol Star Platinum in A Universal Time (AUT)!
