How to get Regieleki and Regidrago in The Crown Tundra

The Regi puzzles from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire make a comeback in Pokemon Sword and Shield The Crown Tundra. There are also two new Regi forms: Regieleki and Regidrago. If you don’t know how to complete these puzzles to get them, they can leave you confused and wondering how to proceed. Here’s how to get Regieleki and Regidrago in The Crown Tundra.

Before catching Regieleki or Regidragon, you need to capture Registeel, Regice, and Regirock. Below you can find a walkthrough for how to get each of them, including the cave location. Here’s how to get all of them:

Where to get Registeel in The Crown Tundra

You’ll first encounter Registeel in a temple outside of Freezington. Whistle outside the doors to open them up. Once you’re inside, you can light up all the circles on the ground to activate the shrine. After interacting with the statue, you will encounter a wild Registeel. You can do some shiny hunting if you want, so you can do some soft resets to test your luck.

Where to get Regice in The Crown Tundra

Next, you can encounter Regice in the Snowy Slide Slope. On your way there, catch Cryogonal and make him follow you. You will need a Cryogonal to get into the Regi cave. Once you’re inside, you can remove Cryogonal from your party if you want. You will then encounter a wild Regice.

Where to get Regirock in The Crown Tundra

Finally, you can encounter Regirock in the Giant’s Bed area, so call a flying taxi and head over there. You need your lead Pokemon to equip an Everstone to access this one. Having the Everstone allows you into the temple, where you will encounter a wild Regirock.

How to get Regieleki and Regidrago in The Crown Tundra

After catching Registeel, Regice, and Regirock, there’s Regieleki and Regidrago. You can only capture one of these, so you would need a second save to get the other one. You can find the cave in Three-Point Pass, and you require all three Regis captured and in your party to enter. The Regi you summon depends on the pattern you make on the floor. Here are the patterns:

After you make the pattern, you can interact with the stone at the back of the cave. Your choice at this point is final, so make sure you have decided whether you want Regieleki or Regidrago. We recommend going with Regieleki over Regidrago.
