Are you wondering how to get Pinsir in Pokemon Sword & Shield Isle of Armor? Pinsir is a Pokemon Sword exclusive Pokemon. Following these steps on Pokemon Shield will lead you to Heracross instead. There are a couple of methods you can use to find Pinsir, and we will show you the easiest one.

How to get Pinsir in Pokemon Sword & Shield Isle of Armor

First, make sure you have the Isle of Armor expansion because this Pokemon is exclusive to that. Also, make sure you are playing on Pokemon Sword because it is a version-specific Pokemon. If you do not have the expansion pass, you can request a trade for one from someone else.

Start by heading over to the Training Lowlands. You will have a 5% chance to find Pinsir in this location. All you need to do is bike around and keep your eyes peeled. There are no special weather requirements we’re aware of to catch this Pokemon.

Catching Pinsir is like catching any other Pokemon. There is nothing special you need to know for finding and catching him. Quick Balls can be used on the first turn to get a quick capture. Otherwise, go with a false swipe and catch them.

That’s everything you need to know to catch a Pinsir in Pokemon Sword Isle of Armor. Again, if you are playing on Pokemon Shield, follow these steps to find a Heracross. There will be a demand for Pinsirs and Heracross, so you can also trade other players to get the one not exclusive to your version of the game.

For other Pokemon version-exclusive content, we have some guides written up on how to catch Skrelp, Dragalge, Clauncer, and Clawitzer. Check them out if you need any of those Pokemon and want to know where to find them.
