Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet is a delicious visual novel game available for only $2.00 on most platforms! If you love games that allow you to make heaps of delicious candy and create beautiful friendships at the same time, you need to get this charming visual novel! Like many visual novel games, Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet has multiple endings that can be earned based on the choices you make while playing.
Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet has a whopping ten total endings, only five of which are good (and five of which are bad). If you want to get all endings in Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet, then you’re in luck! Getting every single ending can seem like an arduous task, but it’s completely worth it! This is a comprehensive guide on how to obtain all endings in Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet.
All Endings in Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet
Getting all the endings in this game is worth it because after every good ending you get, the sprites on your game’s main screen change! Each good ending corresponds to a character in the game, and for each character’s good ending you earn, their sprite’s appearance will change. If nothing else, you should at least get all of the good endings in this game for that reason alone.
Avoiding the bad endings is understandable, as all you get for completing them is a complete endings list. If you really want to get your $2.00 worth though and are really gunning for all ten endings, feel free to go for it! Just beware of these bad endings, however. This game does not mess around with its bad endings, completing them is not recommended for the faint of heart. The first five endings on this list will be the good endings, and the last five will be the bad endings. Here’s how to get all endings in Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet:
Syrup End
Syrup’s ending is honestly considered to be one of the worst good endings, simply because almost every character ends up unhappy except Syrup. However, this ending has nothing on this game’s bad endings, and it’s still worth earning just to see Syrup’s sprite change on the main screen. Here are all the options you’ll need to pick in order to get Syrup’s good ending:
- DO NOT EAT THE CUTE CANDY GIRL
- Alright, we’ll keep her
- Get lost
- …He’s right
- She’s not for sale
- Leaving
- Let her help
- She can deal
- Take all you can carry
- I don’t hate you
- Forget it
Gumdrop End
Everybody loves Gumdrop’s ending! This ending is generally everyone’s favorite ending, as all the characters end up happy (except maybe Butterscotch but she’s fine). If you want to explore the magical world of this game with an adorable candy sidekick, you should definitely prioritize this ending above all others! You’ll need to choose all of these options in order to get Gumdrop’s good ending:
- DO NOT EAT THE CUTE CANDY GIRL
- Alright, we’ll keep her
- Whatever floats your boat
- Take her home
- She’s not for sale
- Supervising Gumdrop
- Let her help
- She can deal
- Take all you can carry
- I don’t hate you
- Look into the crystal ball
Pastille End
Pastille’s ending is, in many people’s opinions, one of the best good endings in the game. People like this ending because every character gets a happy ending, so your conscience can rest easy knowing all of your beloved fictional characters are living out their fictional lives peacefully. To get Pastille’s ending, choose all of these options while playing:
- In that case…
- …Okay I see your point
- I still don’t like it
- My mind’s made up
- Agree to help
- She’s not for sale
- Working with you
- Let her help
- She can deal
- Take all you can carry
- I don’t hate you
- Look into the crystal ball
Butterscotch End
This ending is less beloved than others, but it’s still one of the best good endings in the game. Every character gets to have a somewhat happy ending, and you even get to become great friends with your formal rival! Everyone ends up mostly happy and, unlike in the bad endings, everyone lives! To get Butterscoth’s good ending, choose these options while you’re playing through the game:
- In that case…
- …Okay I see your point
- I still don’t like it
- My mind’s made up
- Agree to help
- She’s not for sale
- Leaving
- Let her help
- Offer her your coat
- Take only what you need
- I don’t hate you
- Look into the crystal ball
- Sounds like a lot of effort…
Toffee End
This ending isn’t as popular as the other good endings, for two reasons: not many people know you can even get this ending, and it’s not really the happiest good ending. Although not every character gets a happy ending in this one (especially Butterscotch), this ending still is loads happier than any of the bad endings, so it’s definitely still worth going for. To get Toffee’s ending in Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet, choose these options in the game:
- In that case…
- …Okay I see your point
- I still don’t like it
- My mind’s made up
- Agree to help
- She’s not for sale
- Leaving
- Let her help
- Offer her your coat
- Take only what you need
- I don’t hate you
- Look into the crystal ball
- Of course
- (You can choose either “Boy” or “Girl”, it won’t have any effect on the ending)
- If you play through Toffee’s route twice and choose “Boy” on the first run and “Girl” on the second, or vice versa, a secret third option will appear to you on the third playthrough: “Neither”!
- If you choose the “Neither” option on the third playthrough, you’ll get some special, humorous dialogue from Toffee. It’s totally worth it!
- If you play through Toffee’s route twice and choose “Boy” on the first run and “Girl” on the second, or vice versa, a secret third option will appear to you on the third playthrough: “Neither”!
Candibal End
This is the first of the bad endings, and it’s a brutal one. Although the Candibal ending is one of the easiest bad endings to get in the game, it’s also one of the worst endings in Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet. If you want to watch one of your favorite fictional characters get eaten alive by another one of your favorite fictional characters, choose these options while playing:
- In that case…
- Eat her anyway
Frozen End
Although the Frozen ending is less brutal than the Candibal ending, it’s still pretty cold-hearted (pun intended). No one wants to watch their favorite characters slowly freeze/starve to death, so if you’d like to avoid that terrible fate, you shouldn’t go for this ending. However, if you’re secretly a masochist who loves watching your favorite fictional characters die in terrible situations, choose these options while playing:
- In that case…
- …Okay I see your point
- I still don’t like it
- My mind’s made up
- Agree to help
- …How much we talkin’?
- Leaving
- This was a terrible idea
- She can deal
- Take all you can carry
- Yeah, I hate you
Bad End 1
This ending is one of the easiest bad endings in Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet to earn, but it’s still all kinds of horrible. Every character ends up alone and miserable, especially Syrup. You have to turn Syrup into a cold-hearted monster with no regard for the lives of the people around her, which is just an all-around terrible experience. To get this sad and lonely ending in Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet, choose these options while playing:
- In that case…
- …Okay I see your point
- I still don’t like it
- My mind’s made up
- Ignore him
- I’m not that desperate
Bad End 2
This bad ending is just as easy to get as the previous bad ending, and is just as horrible! You still have to turn Syrup into a heartless monster who is distrustful of everyone, with one exception. The one person she finally puts her trust in at the end brutally betrays her! If you want to have one of the most terrible endings in the game except even worse, choose these options when playing:
- In that case…
- …Okay I see your point
- I still don’t like it
- My mind’s made up
- Ignore him
- Hire the cat
Worst End
This ending is very aptly named, and once you play through it, you’ll agree. Syrup’s heart literally freezes over and she dies a spiteful, lonely, horrible death. If you want to get one of the worst endings in the entire game, choose these options in order while playing:
- DO NOT EAT THE CUTE CANDY GIRL
- Alright, we’ll keep her
- Whatever floats your boat
- Take her home
- She’s not for sale
- Supervising Gumdrop
- Let her help
- She can deal
- Take all you can carry
- Yeah, I hate you
- I still hate you
