How to Catch a Shadow Snover in Pokemon GO for the Sinnoh Collection Challenge

To catch a Shadow Snover in Pokemon GO, you need to face off against a particular Team Rocket Grunt. Look to the skies for a Team Rocket balloon, and if it comes close enough, you can tap on it to begin a battle. You can also find these Team Rocket Grunts at nearby PokeStops that have been taken over by Team Rocket. Either way is viable, but you may need to be patient if you are waiting for those balloons to fly overhead. They tend to appear every other hour or so if you’re curious.

The Team Rocket Grunt you want to look for will have specific dialogue. Look for the Grunt that says, “You’re gonna be frozen in your tracks.” If the Grunt says that, there’s a high chance it’s going to be a Shadow Snover. If the first Pokemon is Snover, then you’re going to get a chance to catch a Shadow Snover after defeating the grunt.

At the beginning of the encounter, if the Grunt says, “where there is light, there is shadow,” it will likely feature a Shadow Stunky.

There you have it! Now you can complete your collection for the Sinnoh Collection Challenge.
