Genshin Impact is expanding it’s roster and wants to give it’s new character Yelan, a proper spotlight. The new character is now available in-game as part of the 2.7 update. This trailer focuses on the mysterious Yelan, a highly-anticipated 5-star character, who holds the water vision.
Genshin Impact Teases New Character
A cool & beautiful woman takes down Treasure Hoarders doing their thing, robbing. The trailer introduces Yelan in a clever way by trying to build up who this woman in the rain is. She comes across a merchant who explains that these Treasure Hoarders are taking down those in the rain because the rain helps to shield their cries. This only amuses Yelan. Yelan proves to be quite useful, showcasing her incredible skills in fighting, dashing, and taking down enemies.
Yelan joined the Genshin Impact roster by becoming a five-star hydro ranger. She holds the water vision and drowns her enemies as she drenches them with a burst of arrows. You can see her sporting an Aqua Simulcra bow that gives her a health boost of 16-32%. Along with her basic skills, she has constellations that allow her to gain boosts and have an advantage in the battle.
What’s To Come?
With Shanghai going through a lockdown, Genshin Impact had delays. This new character looks promising for the development of Genshin Impact. They also have been updating the modules for the Battle Chronicles, updating fans on their social media on current updates, and we will be seeing another new electro support character name Kuki Shinobu. You won’t be seeing her until the second part of the update.
