FFXIV Heavensturn 2023 Guide – Full List of Quests and Rewards

Heavensturn is upon us!

Being able to bring updates and support a game almost ten years after its original release date is quite a feat. Well, we are talking about Square Enix here, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that in the year 2023, we still get events and new content for Final Fantasy XIV (not the 2010 version, of course, ugh). This time, we are talking about the new edition of an already known annual event: Heavensturn. In order to complete the quests and receive the rewards, keep reading on, since today we have brought you a FFXIV Heavensturn 2023 guide, just because we care about you a lot. Let’s begin!

FFXIV Heavensturn 2023 Guide

From December 31, 2022, to January 16, 2023, the new Heavensturn 2023 event is live for the players to be part of wonderful quests and very profitable rewards. In this edition, you are able to take part of two brand-new quests and there are quite a bunch of rewards for you to collect thanks to you being the problem-solving maniac every RPG needs, specially Final Fantasy. Here is the FFXIC Heavensturn 2023 guide for you. Knock yourself out!

The Box of Fortune

You must travel to Limsa Lominsa, at the Upper Decks, and speak to the NPC called Usagi Bugyo (X:11.5, Y:13.9). As soon as you talk to him, you will be given the quest “The Box of Fortune”. You will then have to speak to the NPC called Far Eastern Omikujishi (X:11.7, Y:14.2). You will be quested to spread his word across the world. And by world, I mean for people in the map, in the order you like:

  • Beaudefoin – Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks (X:11.0, Y:11.3)
  • I’tolwann – Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks (X:11.5, Y:10.9)
  • Rhoswen – Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks (X:12.8, Y:13.8)
  • Trachraet – Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks (X:12.7, Y:12.8)

Right after speaking to them, you must return to Far Eastern Omikujishi, receiving a fortune as a reward. Nice!

With Great Fortune Comes Great Responsibility

No, you don’t get to be Spider-man, so chill. Speak to Far Eastern Omikujishi once again after finishing the “The Box of Fortune” quest, and you will begin another quest. You will have to use the rally emote on Beaudefoin (X:11.7, Y:14.2), followed by a psych emote. You will be greeted with a cutscene, and then you will have to go to Lower La Noscea and interact with Beaudefoin (X:24.3, Y: 24.9) again. Once done, go back to Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks, and talk to Far Eastern Omikujishi one last time and not only will you finish the quest, but you will be rewarded with the following armor:

  • Heavensturn Domaru
  • Heavensturn Kote
  • Heavensturn Haidate
  • Heavensturn Sune-Ate
  •  ‘Hoppy New Year’ achievement

Heavenstrun Event Limited Items

If you are a completionist like me and Jirard Khalil, then you will want all the limited items available in this event. So, in order to get those, unfortunately, you are going to have to pay. Yes, I know, there is no other quest available, but at least it is a pretty straightforward process. Head to Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decker, and talk to Usagi Shonin Festival Supplier (X:11.3, Y:13.6). You will be able to purchase the following items:

  • Zoni – 16 gil
  • Magicked Prism (Advent Cakes) – 19 gil
  • Heavensturn Crane Banner (Furnishing) – 6000 gil
