Best MP5 Setup Modern Warfare

The MP5 is a crowd-favorite submachine gun in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare arsenal. It’s a solid all-around SMG to start with for the beginning of Season 2, and can even be a top-tier gun at higher levels too. This gun is unlocked at level 12 and has good accuracy and control with a high fire rate, making it a solid medium-range weapon.

Best MP5 Setup Modern Warfare

You don’t need too many attachments early on with this gun for it to be effective. It’s good at medium-range and up close as well, making it an easy gun to rack up frags with. We recommend the following attachments to really step the gun up to the next level:

• Barrel – FSS RECON or FSS Light
• Laser – Tac Laser or none
• Stock – FSS Close Quarters or FTAC Collapsible
• Rear Grip – Stippled Grip Tape
• Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip

With a setup like this, your MP5 will be fairly accurate while maintaining solid mobility and move speed. You can find a lot of top tier players using a loadout like this regularly, and there’s a reason for that.

Perks

As always, perks are mostly just preference. Something like this will make this a really effective objective class.

Field Upgrades

A close-range setup like this will require a Semtex for the lethal equipment slot, and then something like a Smoke Grenade as a tactical item. As always, this is a personal preference so pick whatever you like.

Equipment

Dead Silence makes your footsteps inaudible to enemies so you can stealth around like a ninja and pick up some easy frags.
