In celebration of the annual Pokemon Day, Niantic is bringing back armored Mewtwo to Pokemon Go. He will be back in Tier Five Raids from February 25th through March 2nd.
Armored Mewtwo Coming Back to Pokemon Go
Pokemon Day 2020 is on February 27th this year, and Niantic’s decision to bring back Armored Mewtwo has a lot of people excited. This release will coincide with the release of Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution on Netflix.
Clone Pokemon will also be returning to Pokemon Go during this time. In Tier Four Raids, players can get their hands on Clone Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. There will also be a chance that a Clone Pikachu bombs your photos.
To top it all off, Pokemon with party hats will also become catchable. You can find Pikachu and Eevee wearing party hats in the wild, along with Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle wearing partys hats from 7 km eggs.
Get your hands on Armored Mewtwo during the event time from February 25th (4 PM EST) to March 2nd (4 PM EST) in Pokemon Go. Players can also look forward to a special Raid Day w/ Nidorina and Gengar on March 1st (2-5 PM Local Time).
