According to the PokeDex, when a Flabebe is born, it selects a flower it absolutely loves and remains with that flower for its entire life. No matter what happens, even after it evolves, it never lets go of that first flower. That impressive commitment is probably why Flabebe is one of the highlights of Pokemon GO’s 2022 Valentine’s Day event. If you’re interested in Flabebe’s taste in flowers, then here are all of the Flabebe colors in Pokemon GO and how to get them.
Flabebe, along with its evolved forms Floette and Florges, have officially debuted in Pokemon GO with the start of the 2022 Valentine’s Day event this morning. For the duration of the event, which lasts until February 14th at 8:00 PM in your local time zone, Flabebe is one of the Pokemon that has its spawn rate boosted, so it should be much easier to find in the wild. This is especially helpful for you completionists out there, because Flabebe comes in multiple colors.
All Flabebe Colors in Pokemon GO and How to Get Them
Flabebe can appear in one of five colors: white, orange, yellow, red, and blue. Here’s the twist, though: certain colors of Flabebe can only appear in certain regions of the real world. This means that it’s impossible to get all five colors without trading with friends who live in other countries. Hope you care about your relationships as much as Flabebe does!
The specific locations for the Flabebe colors are as follows:
- Yellow Flabebe: Only spawns in North and South America
- Red Flabebe: Only spawns in Africa, Europe, and Middle Eastern countries
- Blue Flabebe: Only spawns in countries located in the Asia-Pacific region
- White Flabebe: Can spawn anywhere in the world
- Orange Flabebe: Can spawn anywhere in the world
Hypothetically, if you live in North America, that means you can only catch Yellow, White, and Orange Flabebes in the wild. The other two colors will need to come from elsewhere.
While we’re on the subject of colors, and because I know some of you are wondering, Flabebe does not currently have a shiny variant in Pokemon GO. As Flabebe was only just added to the Dex, it will likely be a while before its shiny variant becomes available.
