The May 11 Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour features Dratini and is active during the following times:

• Start: Tuesday, May 11 at 6:00 PM Local Time
• End: Tuesday, May 11 at 7:00 PM Local Time

Between the hours of 6 and 7 PM Local Time, players can find an abundance of Dratini around their area. Trainers can also take advantage of a 2x Transfer Candy bonus. The event is in local time, so just pay attention to your clock and get ready at 6 PM!

Remember to take advantage of the two-times Candy bonus, meaning you’ll get 2 Candy instead of 1 for transferring. It’s a good time to clean up that inventory if it’s full of Pokemon you’re waiting to get rid of or don’t need any longer.

How to Catch a Shiny Dratini

It’s also a good time to catch yourself a Shiny Dratini if you’ve been waiting for one! There’s not necessarily a higher spawn rate for Shiny Dratinis, but your chances are better than usual since there are so many of them. You will have a lot of opportunities to do so, and the best thing you can do is be prepared to take advantage of the full hour-long event.
