Pokemon HOME is a cloud service for Nintendo Switch and compatible mobile devices that allows you to link your Nintendo Account from both devices. This allows you to access the same Pokemon Boxes on both versions, meaning you can trade and move Pokemon between compatible games on the fly.

Pokemon Home Research Tasks

While there is no gameplay for Pokemon HOME, there are some Pokemon HOME Research Tasks you can start completing. On Nintendo Switch, you can collect specific Pokemon to complete the tasks. There are no rewards for task completion, but it will help you complete your Pokedex.

There are two sets of tasks: Kanto tasks for Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee and Pikachu, and Galar tasks for Pokemon Sword and Shield. Different Pokemon will need to be imported from each game to complete the tasks. Pokemon HOME on mobile has a different set of tasks that require you to store and trade different Pokemon.
