The Team GO Rocket Celebration event is coming our way starting on February 2. What exactly are they celebrating? Well, you’ll need to participate in the event to find out. Expect new Shadow Pokemon, certain Pokemon appearing more often, different 12 km egg hatches, and a host of new raids. Here’s what to expect in Pokemon GO‘s Team GO Rocket February event.
Pokemon GO: Pokemon GO: Team GO Rocket Celebration 2021 Event
Rocket Grunts will be appearing more frequently with unseen Shadow Pokemon. Lucky Trainers can even encounter a new Shiny Shadow Pokemon by defeating a Team GO Rocket leader.

Team GO Rocket’s February Event runs from Tuesday, February 2 at 10 AM to Sunday, February 7 at 8 PM Local Time in Pokemon GO.
Shadow Pokemon
Rocket Grunts have different lineups before and after the event, so be on the lookout for the balloons and PokeStop invasions. The following Shadow Pokemon will be available from Team GO Rocket Grunts, including:
- Anorith
- Aron
- Lileep
- Nosepass
- Spheal
- Swinub
Wild Spawns
The following Pokemon appear more frequently in the wild, including:
- Araidos
- Golbat
- Gwilfish
- Houndour
- Koffing
- Nuzleaf
- Skorupi
- Stunky
- Sneasel
- Venipede
Egg Hatches
Strange Eggs can hatch the following Pokemon before and after the event:
- Absol
- Corphish
- Deino
- Larvitar
- Pawniard
- Qwilfish
- Sandile
- Scraggy
- Skorupi
Incubated Eggs also require half the distance during the event.
Team GO Rocket February Raids
- One-star Raids: Meowth, Grimey, Gligar, Sneasel, Shinx, Klink
- Three-star Raids: Nidoqueen, Ariados, Umbreon, Tyranitar, Absol
- Five-star Raids: Raikou, Suicune
- Mega Raids: Mega Venusaur, Mega Ampharos, Mega Houndoom
