There are lots of new Pokemon to hunt in Pokemon Sword and Shield’s second expansion, The Crown Tundra. Outside of the main quests, there are many side missions and smaller quests to complete to collect some pretty rare Pokemon. Spiritomb is one of those Pokemon you can find, and, for all those shiny hunters out there, you can get a Shiny Spiritomb. Here’s how to catch Spiritomb in Pokemon Sword and Shield The Crown Tundra.
You can complete a side mini-quest to catch yourself a Spiritomb. It’s not immediately apparent that you can do this, so you may very well have no idea this exists.
How to catch Spiritomb in Pokemon Sword and Shield The Crown Tundra
Start by flying to Dyna Tree Hill and make your way to a secret tombstone by following the path. You can find it next to the tree where you meet the Galarian birds. When you first read the headstone, it brings up a dialog saying, “spread my voice.” That’s the first step of this sidequest in which you must talk to other trainers.
To spread your voice, you must go online in Pokemon Sword and Shield’s The Crown Tundra. As you’re online, you will encounter other trainers in the overworld. You can wait by the gravestone and wait for other trainers to show up. Talk to other trainers a total of fifty times, but make sure to interact with the tombstone after every ten. Speaking with other trainers can also get you some Spice Mix, Fried Food, Salad Mix, and more goodies as a bonus.
Each time you speak with ten trainers, interact with the tombstone, and you’ll notice some new messages. After number fifty, you can head to the tombstone and find Spiritomb waiting there for you. We recommend saving your game at this point, especially if you’re shiny hunting the Spiritomb.
