A golden prize inside!

Every region in Genshin Impact has its own speciality flora and fauna that can only be found there. One of the specialties of the Sumeru region is the Nilotpala Lotus, also known as the Lunar Lotus, a lovely water-borne flower that blooms at night. Here’s where to get Lunar/Nilotpala Lotuses in Genshin Impact.

Where to get Lunar (Nilotpala) Lotus in Genshin Impact

Lunar Lotuses grow in bodies of freshwater around the Sumeru region, particularly in slightly dank spots like swamps and marshes. You can see them during the day in the form of large blue flowers on top of lilypads on the water, though at night, they bloom into large gold blossoms. You can pick them up at any time of day by just walking up and interacting with them; the Lotus doesn’t need to be blooming.

Lunar Lotuses are used in the creation of Dendroculus Resonance Stones, which are handy for tracking down wayward Dendroculus around the Sumeru region. Lunar Lotuses are also required as Ascension materials for Tighnari.

So where can you find these lovely flowers? They show up pretty consistently around bodies of water around the region, but you’ll definitely have a better chance if you look in the vicinity of the following spots:

  • Southeast of Chatrakam Cave
  • West of Alcazarzaray
  • Chinvat Ravine
  • Devantaka Mountain
  • South of Vimara Village
  • Cliffs west of Ruins of Dahri
  • Vanarana

Like most specialty plants in Genshin Impact, it’ll take about 48 hours in real-time before Lunar Lotuses respawn after you pick them. Out of all of these locations, the best place to start looking for Lunar Lotuses would probably be within the Avidya Forest, located between Sumeru City and The Chasm. The forest is loaded with swampland, which is absolutely lousy with lilypads to harvest Lunar Lotuses from.
