On August 26, we got a first look at the release date and pre-order editions for the upcoming Black Ops sequel, Call of Duty Cold War. A common question on every fan’s mind right now is: will Call of Duty Cold War have zombies? Well, we have the answer for you, along with some other juicy details about the upcoming title from Treyarch.

Will Call of Duty Cold War have Zombies?

According to an official description of the game, zombies will be available in Call of Duty Cold War. From the official Battle.net Black Ops Cold War page, we can also see a section for Zombies. 

The famous “zombies” mode has been a fan-favorite and a staple in Call of Duty Black Ops games. If you’re not familiar, players start in an area and must defend it from hordes of zombies from attacking. You accumulate cash from taking out enemies, which you can use to buy new weapons and other upgrades to help fend off the progressively more difficult waves of undead.

Is Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Zombies Crossplay?

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War zombies mode will have cross-play functionality. Players can party up and play together across all platforms, including next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, to frag as many zombies as possible. We’ll share more details when Treyarch unveils more information. 

“Uncover dark Cold War experiments that unleash a new Zombie threat to take on in frightening and intense co-operative gameplay with friends.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 13. Next-generation consoles will have the title when they release later in the year.
