Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 7 is officially underway as of June 17th. Treyarch brings us a limited-time event called “Ground Fall” as part of the new season launch. The event includes six challenges split up between the two games. Each challenge rewards players with a unique in-game item. Time is of the essence, though, so you might be wondering how to knock these challenges out efficiently. Here’s how to complete the Ground Fall event in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.

The Ground Fall Event is a limited-time event, lasting for only seven days in total. June 25th is the last day you’ll have to complete all of the challenges and earn the relevant rewards.

How to complete Ground Fall Event in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War

To complete the Ground Fall Event in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, you’ll need to finish these challenges:

  1. Secure five Uplink Stations in Warzone.
  2. Eliminate ten enemies while near active Uplink Stations or recently crashed Satellites in Warzone.
  3. Collect three rewards from crashed Satellites in Warzone.
  4. Earn 1,000 points from captured Uplink Stations in Fireteam Sat-Link in Cold War.
  5. Get 250 eliminations in matches on Collateral, Collateral Strike, Hijacked, or Amsterdam in Cold War.
  6. Get 15 kills with the Hand Cannon Scorestreak in Cold War.

Completing all of the challenges in either game mode unlocks the Epic Private Party blueprint for the Magnum pistol. It works similar to the Hunt for Adler event back in Season 3.

How to complete Ground Fall Event in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War - Rewards Private Party

Secure five Uplink Stations in Warzone

Uplink Stations appear at random locations in Warzone’s Battle Royale game mode. These do not show up on the minimap, so you’ll need to do some hunting around for them. To secure the Uplink Stations, stand next to it and wait for the meter to fill up.

After securing an Uplink Station, look into the sky for the Satellite to crash into a nearby location. Head to the Satellite Cache map marker to pick up some loot as a reward. Doing this will give you credit for the third objective in the Ground Fall event.

  • Reward: Satellite – Charm

Eliminate ten enemies while near active Uplink Stations or recently Crashed Satellites in Warzone

The second challenge is self-explanatory, as all you need to do is get ten kills near any active Uplink Station. You will get credit for kills for standing next to any Uplink Station or Crashed Satellite. It does not need to be one that you secured yourself, so keep that in mind.

  • Reward: To the Moon – Calling Card

Collect three rewards from Crashed Satellites in Warzone

To collect rewards from Crashed Satellites in Warzone, you or someone else will need to secure an Uplink Station. After it is secure, a Satellite will come crashing down at a location nearby. The Crashed Satellite leaves a Satellite Cache, which is what you’ll need to interact with to get credit for this part of the challenge. These begin crashing at random locations throughout Verdansk roughly two minutes into each match, so pay attention to the skies.

The Crashed Satellite Caches can contain things like loadout markers, HARPs, and other valuable items. Overall, they are undoubtedly worth looting if you come across one, whether you need credit for the challenge or not. Note that you can collect three rewards from any Satellite Cache, and it does not need to be one from an Uplink Station you secured.

  • Reward: Launch Time – Emblem

Earn 1,000 points from captured Uplink Stations in Fireteam Sat-Link in Cold War

To earn 1,000 points from captured Uplink Stations, you’ll need to enter a Fireteam: Sat-Link game from the active playlist. When you’re in a game, you’ll notice a few different Sat-Link locations. Head to any of these locations with your squad and secure them. When the Sat-Link points are secure, you’ll begin earning points toward the challenge.

You can also loot nearby crates for Signal Boosters and deposit them at the Satellite Uplinks for additional points. Doing this will help you finish the challenge quicker. Overall, it might take you a few games to complete.

  • Reward: Cosmic Commuter – Arcade Game

Get 250 eliminations in matches on Collateral, Collateral Strike, Hijacked, or Amsterdam in Cold War

The second Cold War challenge is to get 250 eliminations in any of the new Season 4 maps. To quickly complete this challenge, we recommend playing the Hijacked 24/7 game mode that is now live. You can knock out two birds with one stone using a Hand Cannon scorestreak, leading us to the final challenge.

  • Reward: Comrade Pupper – Emblem

Get 15 kills with the Hand Cannon Scorestreak in Cold War

The final Cold War challenge is to get fifteen kills with the new Hand Cannon Scorestreak. It is a massive high-caliber revolver that fires devastating rounds with increased bullet penetration. Equip the Hand Cannon Scorestreak to your loadout, and you can activate it when you reach 2800 points. Earn 15 kills while Hand Cannon Scorestreak is active to complete the challenge.

  • Reward: Race to the Surface – Calling Card

Again, you have until June 25th to complete these Ground Fall event challenges if you want to claim any of the rewards for Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
